This Privacy Policy describes how PRformYs ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Routine Hero application and website (getroutinehero.com and app.getroutinehero.com).

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information: email address, parent name, and password (encrypted)
Child profile data: child's first name, age, ADHD profile preferences, and routine completion data
Usage data: app interactions, routine streaks, and progress statistics
Payment information: handled exclusively by Stripe — we never store card details
Technical data: browser type, device type, IP address, and language preference

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and personalize the Routine Hero service
To process subscription payments via Stripe
To send essential service communications (trial reminders, billing updates)
To improve the app and fix technical issues
To comply with legal obligations

We never sell your personal data or your child's data to third parties.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Routine Hero is designed for children ages 6–12, but accounts are created and managed exclusively by parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Children access the app through a parent-generated code only.

5. Third-Party Services

Stripe (stripe.com) — Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data.
Supabase (supabase.com) — Secure database hosting (EU region where available).
Netlify (netlify.com) — Marketing website hosting.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. After account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records: 7 years under French law).

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Union, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Rectify inaccurate data
Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
Object to certain processing activities
Lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés)

8. Cookies

Our marketing website uses only essential cookies required for site functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The app uses session tokens to keep you logged in.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and access controls. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS certified.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
